Hosur Ring Road or ஓசூர் உள்வட்ட சாலை, is totally different from that of Proposed Bangalore Outer Ring Road under Sagar mala scheme.

This is also different to Hosur Outer Ring Road Phase II. That will be connecting Zuzuvadi to Perandapalli via villages behind Begapalli.
Many people get confused of Hosur Road of NH7 with this one. Actually, Hosur Road is not Hosur ring road.
The road project was proposed during 1986 and got completed in 2010. The total length of the ring road is 12 kms
The road connects ESI Hospital near Mookandapalli (NH7), intersects Thally Road near Thally Road TNEB Sub-Station, Denkanikottai Road near RC Church, Railway Station Road, Rayakottai Road near Govt Staff Colony and runs behind the Temple hill, Chanachanthiram Village and merges with NH 7 near Sales Tax Office.
By intersecting Thally road and Denkanikottai road, it connects the main artillery roads of Hosur.
Hosur Road is actually the part of NH 7 that runs between Madiwala – Silk Board Jn of Bangalore to Karnataka’s border – Attibele. This road is in Bangalore city and is in Karunataka.
Many IT companies including TCS, Infosys, Mahindra Satyam are present in this road.
